Mabel Jane Guimond

Born May 4, 1929, and a survivor of the Indian Residential School system, Mabel worked and lived in the Fort Frances area for most of her life, where she raised her three children.

She was predeceased by her son, Randy Paul Guimond.

Mabel leaves behind her son, Harry Bombay Jr. (Sheila) of Ottawa, Ont.; daughter, Gail Klymchuk of Winnipeg, Man.; and grandchildren, Shandra Spears Bombay of Toronto, Ont., Michelle Bombay (Darryll) and Eric Klymchuk of Winnipeg, Man.; and Adrian Campbell (Louise), Corey Bombay, Michael Bombay, and Amy Bombay of Ottawa, Ont.

Mabel also was blessed with six great-granddaughters, Alyssa, Kira, Sydney, Cheyenne, Abigail, and Anevay.

Visitation will take place Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 from 10 a.m.-noon at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian Keffer officiating.
