

Marshall Isaac Jourdain, 67, of Couchiching First Nation passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, January 11, 2016 at Riverside Health Care Facility. Marshall was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on March 11, 1948 to the late Armand and Ivaline Jourdain.
He is survived by his daughters Tabatha Jourdain (Les Carpenter), Amanda Jourdain (Glenn Smith) and Dana Jourdain (Charles Lundeen) and their mother Beverly Sweeney, grandchildren,Tamara, Johnathan (Cassia), Jordan, Jake, Damon, Izzy, Taylor, Nate, Morgan and Sarah. Also surviving are siblings Irene Morrisseau, Joyce Bruyere and Armand Jourdain (Lavana) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marshall was predeceased by his parents Armand and Iva Jourdain, brother Vernon Jourdain, sister Rhodianna Flett and brothers-in-law Melvin Morrisseau and Lyle Bruyere.
Marshall cherished his family and looked forward to family gatherings and nicknaming his loved ones. He also enjoyed bingo, casino, yard work, walking, biking and music.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Father Victor DeGagne will officiate followed by interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4:00 pm at the Couchiching First Nation Bingo Palace at Couchiching First Nation, Ontario.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Singleton, Dakota Bruyere, Jeremy Jordan, Armand Jourdain, Jerome Tuesday and Garrett Bruyere.
Honourary pallbearers will be Robert “Bob” Bruyere and other close friends and family.
