Passed away suddenly at her home in Okotoks, Alberta
She will be lovingly missed by her 6 children Ronna Bruyere of Okotoks, AB, Duane Woods of Dryden, ON, Lyne Brown of Okotoks, AB, Pam Anderson of Okotoks, AB, Darrick Woods of Bonnyville, AB & Darrell Woods of Bonnyville, AB; 12 grandchildren Crystal Works & Robert Bruyere, Cory, Kirby, & Dale Woods, Sonny Brown, Kyla Anderson & Ashley Brodoway, Landon, Noah & Kaleb Woods, & Nicole Woods; and 6 great-grandchildren Deanna Works & Dakota Bruyere, Brennan & Braeden Woods, Grace & Carson Brodoway. Also survived by her dear sister Shirley Fisher of Owen Sound, Ontario.
Millee loved spending time with her family, playing bingo, listening to Country music, and was always busy with a special craft or sewing project. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends as generous and kind with a great sense of humour. She found joy in simple things and simple ways of life.
Before she retired she worked as a Child Care Worker at Sybil Russell Hall where she made lasting friendships with her co-workers. Millee was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary for many years.
A memorial service will be held at Green Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1st at 1:00pm with Reverend Barbara Miller officiating. Luncheon to follow.
Cremation has taken place and Millee will be buried with her Grandmother Bertha Daw at the Fort Frances Cemetery.
