Taylor DPM, Alfred A. of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on May 5th, 2013. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a retired podiatry physician. Dr. Taylor enrolled in the pre-med program at Seaton Hall University, South Orange, NJ and graduated from medical school at NYU. During the Korean Conflict, he spent six years in the US Army as a medical technician and was awarded the Combat Medical Badge and the Korean Service Medal. He will be missed by his brother, Rev. Benedict Taylor, OFM,; by his sister, Myrna Pinkney; and by his longtime companion, George Gilbert. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
