

Ammini was born Dec 20, 1927, to Varkey and Aleyamma Philiphose in Ranny, Kerala, India. She was one of six children: Kunjamma, Mariamma, John, Annamma and George. Her hobbies included cooking, drawing, and singing and she loved to tell stories of the time she moved to Kottayam.
She married K.P. Kurian and had five children: Lovees, Solomon, Mercy, Blessy and Philemon. She immigrated to the United States (Oklahoma) in 1986 and was joined by her husband K.P. Kurian in 1988. She and her husband were involved in various ministries through International Pentecostal Assembly. Later, they moved to the Bronx in NYC and were associated with different Christian churches and groups. They then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, lived there for eight years and attended Zion Assembly of God church. After the death of her husband, she moved to Melbourne, Florida to live with her youngest son Philemon Kurian and family.
Ammini Kurian gave her life to the Lord at a very young age. She was a humble and gentle woman who loved Jesus with all her heart. She was a powerful woman of prayer; only heaven knows the eternal impact her many years of faithful praying had on her family, friends, and acquaintances. She loved singing and worshiping the Lord. She sang old Malayalam devotional songs, until she could no longer.
As a dedicated stay-at-home mother, she poured her heart and soul into creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family. She loved cooking and her recipes left a legacy of love that was passed on to generations. She was also a talented artist who found joy in expressing herself through her drawings. Her artistic creations were a reflection of the beauty of God’s creation she saw in the world.
Ammini Kurian is survived by her brother George, sister Annamma; her children and their spouse: Lovees & Daniel Thomas, Solomon & Molly Solomon, Mercy & CP George, Blessy & Kallara S. Thomas and Philemon & Dr. Mary Kurian; her grandchildren Sibyl, Rejo, Mable, Carol, Neena, Noble, Nelson, Jeenu, Jimmy, Janie, Serah, Elizabeth, Philemon Jr, and Raoul; her great grandchildren: Isaiah, Ashlyn, Alana, Micah, Olivia, Jayden, Sophia, Malachi, Ezra, Ethan, Elijah, Jude, Marc, Nathan, Nicholas, Charlotte, Emilia and Adeline; and her nieces, nephews and their families.
Ammini Kurian had a very loving nature and was always warm and welcoming to everyone. She left a lasting impression on the people she met. He was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother.
On the morning of Sept 30, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, Ammini peacefully departed to be with her heavenly Creator. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
