

Annamma Abraham was born on May 15, 1942 to Koshy Kunchandy and Achiamma Koshy, Neithottu Thottathil House, Pooyappally in Kerala, India. She had four sisters, late Chinnamma, Mariamma, Sosamma, Rachel and one brother, late Alexander Koshy. During twenty years in Panavely, she reflected God’s love by opening up her home for regular prayer meetings and bible studies for the neighborhood.
As a women of faith with a heart of a servant, she regularly visited government hospitals with supplies and to pray for the sick. Annamma came to Florida in 1989. She was an active member of Mar Thoma Church of South Florida. She was part of many activities of the church and was known for sharing God’s love in simple practical ways and her selfless acts of kindness to the sick and needy. She loved God and people of God. Led a simple life and raised a wonderful family as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, friends and church events.
She married Abraham David in April 28, 1969. She is survived by her husband Abraham, and daughter Raji and her husband Jinu Varghese, son Aji and his wife Sharon Abraham. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Jibin, Jesslin, Kaitlynn, Angelynn and Sherlynn. The remarkable thing that she has left behind for us is her example. She has left a lasting memory to all those who knew her. Even with all of her physical challenges, she kept her faith on God. She was a great wife, wonderful mother and sweet grand mother. To our Annamma, Baby, Babu, Mummy, Ammachi and ammamma, goodbye for now. We will see you on the other shore.
