Bernes Brady Joseph

Bernes Joseph, passed away on August 23, 2023 in Pembroke Pines. He was born in Miami to Ann Marie Escarment and Bertrand Joseph on July 14, 1980. He attended Edison High School in Miami and went on to graduate from Miami-Dade College in 2001. In that same year, while working in Miramar he met the love of his life, Ann and Damion who he considered his son. He then graduated Florida International University in 2005, proudly earning his bachelor’s degree in business management. Subsequently he started a successful career as a Payroll Specialist at Paychex after graduating and then moved on to Ultimate Software (now UKG) in 2011. He worked as a dedicated Implementation Advisor with an expertise in Taxes. He was employed at UKG until his untimely passing. Bernes had many interests including sports, the stock market, reading, networking, chess, fashion and jewelry, especially watches. However, his biggest love was his partner, Ann. A true, one-of-a-kind love, Ann and Bernes were made for each other. He always made time to tell Ann that he loved her and often would stay by the door to watch until she left for work every day. Bernes had a larger-than-life personality with the biggest heart (and the smile to go with it) and exemplified his love and care for his friends and family in many ways. He was known to be everyone’s confidant, life coach, financial advisor, negotiator, teacher, mentor, and being the best friend, he could possibly be. He never said “no” and dropped everything to help no matter who you were or the situation. He had the warmest soul and touched every person he encountered, leaving a memorable impression. He was selfless and would dedicate time to his friends and family. He always kept a strong connection and treated everyone the same, making you feel as though you were his only friend. Bernes is truly 1 of 1, and there will never be anyone like him. How lucky heaven is to call home an angel like Bernes Joseph. Rest in peace our brother, our friend, Bernes.

Bernes is preceded in death by his mother, Anne Marie, sister, Angie Escarment, and brother, Ti Alize Joseph.

Bernes is survived by his wife Ann, son Damion, father Bertrand Joseph, sister Veslyne Escarment, brother Barry Joseph, and niece, Halle Cutri
