You are my friend. When I need you most you're always so close just because you are my friend. Sometimes a heart can get so cold, but your arms warm my soul.  A simple smile a tender touch

Carl no one could ever understand how much I am going to miss you.  I thank you for getting me through some  tough times and understanding me without judgement.  

It is a heavy pain but I know you are definitely in a better place.

Carl was my brother.  He was always there when I needed him.  Ready to do whatever he could do to help.  Because that's the kind of man he was.  Selfless,  kind, generous and humble. I'm grateful that I was able to be a part of his life and to have him in mine. I'll carry his memory with me for all of my days. 


Waking up today to a chilly spring morning.  The words " Chilly Chilly "came to the forefront of my thoughts.   I am sure we all can hear those words resound with a picture of a smiling Carl.  A good brother from another mother was he.  I, like Coco ,remember being pick up from school and a good and reliable friend always willing to help others when and if he could.  

Chilly Chilly:

Ice cold was the ride 
transporting friends and loved ones countless times.
Refreshingly answering the calls for help
to those  in paths that otherwise would melt
Working hard artistic flair 
for manicuring God's green lairs
Flashing a reassuring smile
assuring that he could stay a while
to laugh, to share, to be a part
Now in times when we all depart
we will see all of our loved ones replete.
better than we could ever conceive, overcoming death's feigned defeat! 
 Enjoying the splendor of love complete.

Uncle Carl,  

I Love You Moree than the stars and moon. Your leaving me with nothing but memories after memories, when you and daddy used to pick us up from school and we used to make songs and laugh hysterically. 

When you used to come to the house just to spend time with us. I can hear you now “Heyy Honey”! 

I’ll Love you forever because you Loved me forever. No matter how far you went you were always there for us.

My Uncle Carl, you'll truly be missed. I think about the good morning texts and the pokes in the necks. When you used to get us from school and take us to get something to eat. 

And the way you used to mumble when eating good food. Thank you for always loving us and protecting us. May you rest well. I will ALWAYS love you. I put that on everything!
