

Dale Kilpatrick of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on May 16,2014 in the company of his loved ones after a long battle with metastatic melanoma. Dale was born on September 13, 1946 to Howard and Henrietta Kilpatrick of South Orange, New Jersey, and passed his youth there. He was a 1964 graduate of Columbia High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in 1968. Subsequent to that, he served the US Air Force as a commissioned officer. Upon discharge from the military, he began a 43 year career as a commercial real estate appraiser. In 1976 he received the MAI designation. He was at that time one of the half dozen youngest MAI designees in the country. He could never have accomplished such a feat without the assistance and support of his one-time employer and longtime friend John Lasser, now of Maplewood New Jersey. Dale is survived by his three best friends, Warren Perkins and Wayne Alexander Smith, both also of Fort Lauderdale, and Anthony Mazzola of Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
