I am so sorry for your loss. We can be sure that he is resting peacefully in Gods memory. In this time tragic time we tend to look for reasons why bad things like Death and other suffering happens. One thing we can be sure of is that God does not cause us to suffer and he does not do evil things to us. His Word the Bible says that in James 1:13. That has brought me much comfort in knowing that Lamisere is at peace.

The Jérémien community in Florida or abroad has just lost a great son. I salute the memory of this great man, this great teacher who had taught us the first algebraic concepts during our high school. Maître Delphra  or( Teacher Delphra) as we used to call him, many of us still remember his good methodology during his youth as a teacher  back home at College Saint Louis or at Nord Alexis High School in our town of Jérémie. For me, it seems like it was yesterday, seeing him explaining to us how to solve a quadratic inequality in one unknown in Algebra... Yet however, more than 40 years have already passed.  Life is just a cycle ... everything passes, everything falls from the wind, like a leaf falls from the tree. Thanks Maître Delphra! Despite your short time in education field, we are heartened that you have had time to sow some good nursery that will bear fruit. 
May your soul rest in peace!
