Donald F. Larson

He served in the Korean War as an Army staff sergeant in the signal corp. Don was rooted in this community serving in numerous city advisory boards such as Code Enforcement, Beach Advisory, UnSafe Structures, Fire Board, and Utility Board. He was a longtime realtor of Broward County for over 50 yrs finally retiring at the age of 90. Never wanting to be idle, Don and his wife served on the board of a home for unwed mothers. Additionally, he served on 2 condo boards, owned and operated 2 motels in the Ft Lauderdale beach area as well as ran a Health and Wellness Company with his wife.

Don and his wife, Carol were married for 73 yrs. Carol preceded him in death over a year ago. When describing Don, service is the perfect description. He served others and he served his county proudly.

His memorial service is at the Kraeer Fairchild Funeral Home on 4061 N. Federal Hwy Ft Lauderdale on Saturday, May 27. Viewing is from 12pm-1pm; the service is at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please see the funeral home website for local charities he supported.
