

Born on June 26, 1959, in Chicago, Edward was the cherished son of the late Eleanor and
Edward Carlisle II. He attended Lutheran School and graduated from Lutheran High School,
laying the foundation for a life marked by dedication, community, and family.
Edward married Hameedah Carlisle in Fort Lauderdale, where they built a life grounded in love
and mutual support. Professionally, Edward was a hardworking and passionate man. He worked at Captain Ed's Lobster Trap as a seafood distributor and also ran his own real estate brokerage business. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched by his devotion to service, he volunteered with the
Community Emergency Response Team in Fort Lauderdale, always eager to lend a helping
hand to his neighbors and community.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Eleanor and Edward Carlisle II and his beloved daughter Danielle Carlisle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hameedah Carlisle, and his young son, James Carlisle, whom
he affectionately referred to as his “buddy.” He is also survived by his children, Edward Carlisle
IV and Ashley Carlisle; his former wife, Lori Carlisle; his brothers, Raymond Carlisle and Robert
Carlisle; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
