Edward Ervin Mears

Edward Ervin Mears, “Pops” “Grandpa Edward” went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2014. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Edward was a fun, loving man who worked hard. His passions included fishing and hunting. Above all he Loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always ready to go, hunting, races, trips to the beach, cruises, Disney, family dinners or just fishing on the doc with his great granddaughter. He enjoyed life.

Edward will be truly missed by his family however there is rejoicing as he is now reunited with the Love of his life Joanna in Heaven.

He is survived by a large and loving family. Daughters: Anna Marrero and Sharon Williamson, Son in Laws: Max Marrero and Phil Williamson, Grand Children: Matthew (Erin), Christopher (Heather), Anthony (Steph), Jessica (Mike) and Phillip, Great Grand Children: Payton, Matthew, Noell, Elijah and baby Mason, Brothers: James Mears (Charlyn), John Mears (Susan) Sisters: Eva Reaves, Edna Cannon (Ken), Nellie Drake. Finally he is also survived by more than 100 loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
