From the time she was born on July 26, 1948, Beth Anne showed a deep passion for her family and loved ones. She was truly a giving and caring individual with a warmth surely felt. Her parents were Fred and Evelyn Keller. Beth Anne was raised in Scott Township Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to South Florida in 1972.
Because family and fellowship was so important to her, Beth Anne made it a point to stay connected with relatives and friends even though she was miles away. She was raised with one sibling, her brother, David Keller (Mary Anne).
As a young girl, Beth Anne really treasured the time spent with relatives and neighborhood friends. Family trips to Ocean City, Maryland was a frequent topic of conversation and brought tremendous joy when reminiscing about years past. Beth Anne was certainly an active child. Following her older brother, David, was a challenge she relished. Tough enough to run with the neighborhood boys and beautiful enough to break hearts as a cheerleader, Beth Anne just wanted to be involved.
All who knew her would agree that there was a certain kind of magic in how Beth Anne was able to bond with her children. Beth Anne's mission was to always help her family reach its full potential. Beth Anne was blessed with three children, Jon Ryan Stewart (Elsie), Brandon Paul Stewart (Elizabeth), Justin Martin Stewart (Jasmin). They were also blessed with three grandchildren: Jasmyn, Jordan, Jayden, and one on the way. Keeping up with three boys was no small feat, but her desire to be engaged and active provided immeasurable love and lasting memories.
Beth Anne passed away on February 22, 2010 at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is survived by her children Jon Ryan (Elsie), Brandon Paul (Elizabeth), Justin Martin (Jasmin); her grandchildren Jasmyn, Jordan and Jayden; & her brother, David Keller (Mary Anne). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010, 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 SW 64th Ave., Davie, FL 33317.
Though she could be a reserved person at times, Beth Anne was always willing and able to give of herself. Those close to her knew of her affinity for all things Irish, teddy bears, and especially dogs. Elizabeth Anne Keller Stewart shared herself freely. Family and friends will remember Beth Anne for the strength of her convictions, legacy passed on to her children, and genuine love of those she encountered. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
