Elsa B. Evans

Born on April 5, 1943 in the Philippines, she was the daughter of Pio and Gertrudis Capistrano. Elsa was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs and St. Gregory Catholic Church. She loved gardening, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband John D. Evans Jr.; a son, Eugene Evans (Tara); a daughter, Michelle Jahrmarkt (Cliff); brothers, Rene, Oscar, Adolfo, Fulgencio, Roberto, and Edgar Capistrano; Sisters, Teresa Gil, Rosbin Capistrano, and Meden Dray; grandchildren, Leelah Jahrmarkt, Gavin, Grant, and Gregory Evans. She was predeceased by both of her parents and her brothers, Rogelio, and Wilfredo Capistrano.

A viewing will be held at Forest Lawn South 2401 SW 64th Ave Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33317 on Friday July 5th at 5:30pm with a prayer service starting at 6pm. Mass will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church located at 200 N. University Drive Plantation, Florida 33324 at 1pm on Saturday July 6th followed by burial service at Forest Lawn South at 3pm.

Elsa will be missed dearly.

A Dinner to celebrate the life of Elsa B. Evans, will be held after the burial at Bucca di Beppo Italian Restaurant 3355 S. University Drive Davie, Florida 33328.
