Oh wow I don't know what to say other than Lynn was a great person. I guess her job on earth was done but she was taken from us way too early. I trained Lynn way back when in the Pompano Police Department and it was there that our friendship started. Lynn was easy to train because she was smart and meticulous. She did a great job and made me proud and she went on to BSO to finish her career where I understand she did great also. I remember when Kelsey was born and watching them get packed up in the car when they left my house. Lynn always kept me up to date with Kelsey and what was going on in her life. She raised a good, beautiful girl. Hang in there Kelsey. I loved getting her Christmas cards because it was like sitting in the room with her even though we were miles away.  Although I haven't seen Lynn for some time, I will miss her. God Bless the family and know she was loved by all.

I met Lynn in dental hygiene school in 1969. It was always fun when Lynn drove her car...the music would be loud and she drummed out the rhythm of the best with her hand in the gear stick or the steering wheel.  Our friendship continued when we both had moved to the Atlanta area and I saw her in the grocery store near Emory University.  She taught me the art of counted cross stitching in the mid 70’s. She celebrated the birth of my first son with me and she mourned with me when he died at a young age. She  rejoiced with me when my other children were born. She visited with me in each parsonage that we lived in and in our own home...she is the only one who made it to all ten of them! Kelsey, you made it to two of them yourself!  Her Christmas cards were a highlight of the season for me. Her written words came alive as she shared the events that the past year had been filled with. Lynn embraced life herself and she enhanced my life. Her ever present smile, her beautiful eyes, her delightful laugh...I will carry in my heart always. My prayers will continue for you, Kelsey, and all of us whose lives she shared her love and friendship with.

Lynn was my Mancuso Quiltfest buddy, my partner in crime when Lou was out of town, my sister by heart.  She was that special friend that you could discuss anything with.  She was there for all our group cruises leading the pack.  Our spare bedroom was called Lynn's room and it will always remain Lynn's room.  You will be missed by many.  Lou and Debbie Sprague-Patten
