Truly appreciate your many years of kindness to my family and I. One of my fondest memories of you is when we both towed my car with your truck. You made me drive the truck while you controlled the car as it was tied to the backend. What an eventful day that was! Full of nervousness at the beginning, yet full of laughs at the end. 
Although you are not with us physically, we know that you are still here spiritually. We know you will be there to look over your children and grandchildren. May You Rest In Peace!

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory  no one can steal. Sadly missed along life's way, quietly remembered everyday.  No longer in our life to share but in our hearts you're always there. 
  Rasta, I can vividly remember our last conversation as you offered your words of wisdom and comfort during our recent loss."Queen Sista wheh deh  gwaan ?" I would proceed to tell you and you would then say " A mi fi tell yuh" Soon I would forget it was about me. " No Transalation needed"
 You had an innate ability of personalizing each conversation and highlighting the human side of each experience.  A multifaceted  man capable of making the best of every situation. Eternally thankful for the years of friendship, shared memories and words of wisdom.  I will miss your timely text , links on the phone,those hilarious and "news worthy " images always with a hidden message.

My name is Rose Mcghie from Maroon town, Jamaica.  Garfield was a true friend to me. He was a father not only to his own children, but also to anyone that he met. He was someone that you never got tired of talking to. He would always tell you what you needed to hear, not what you wanted to hear.  My sincere condolences to his family, especially to little Tiani.... he was her whole world. I will try to do his memory justice by acting on all the advice he gave me. He will never be forgotten.
