Jo-Anne L. Simonenko (Jo-Jo), died in her home on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Plantation, Florida due to complications following an intense two year battle with cancer. She was 59 years young. Jo-Jo left peacefully while surrounded by her family.
Jo-Jo was a caring nurse for over 30 years and loved cooking and entertaining. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her relatives. Jo was known for having a fierce loyalty to her family and friends.
She is survived by her wonderful husband, Nick; her mother, Gisele Hall; sisters, Cindy Hall and Lou-Lou (Mark) Magli; sister in law, Lydia Kerstetter; uncle, Terry Hall; nephews, Zachary (Jessica) Hall and Dominic Magli; niece, Dannielle Hall; great-nephew, Bryson Hall. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Hall. Jo-Jo will be sorely missed by those who loved and cared for her.
A visitation for Joanne will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 25, 2018 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A committal service will occur Friday, May 25, 2018 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A reception will occur Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.
