John Joseph Biondi

He was born in Rome, NY on December 7, 1944. John graduated from North Miami Senior High and received an honorable discharge from the United States Army after 3 years of service.

He was married to Lindia Burns Biondi on September 25, 1969.

John worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years before he retired in January 2000. He had a passion for coaching sports and watching his favorite Florida Marlins play ball.

He was survived by his 2 daughters Diane Biondi Pellini and Karen Biondi Saladrigas, and his 3 grandchildren Lindsey Saladrigas, Hayley Saladrigas, and Vincent Pellini.

A celebration of John's life will be held at 2pm February 25, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South 6530 W State Road 84 Davie FL 33317

The celebration service will start at 3pm followed by military honors and a reception with light refreshments. The family asks that you honor John's wishes and come dressed comfortable and in your favorite sports attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Miami Springs Little League, which will help children play baseball or softball who might not otherwise have the funds to do so.
