John Andrew Romano was born May 8th 1935 to John and Lena Romano in Brooklyn, New York. John was an only child, he met and married Sallyann Improta in 1958. They had three children John, Thomas and Patti. All three children were born in Connecticut, later the family was brought to Florida where they settled. John loved fishing, hunting and golf but the family's passion has always been cooking. In 1975 they opened a lunch counter where they provided food for the workers at the local farmers market in Hollywood. From there they ventured out into lunch trucks and eventually opened a catering company known as "Catering by Sally." In 1977 John and his family opened a deli and meat store. Since then John has had many accomplishments, his proudest being his family. Mr. Romano is survived by his wife Sally, his oldest son John and his wife Lory and their daughter Krystal, his second son Tom and his son Joshua and lastly by his only daughter Patti and her two girls Nicole and Melissa.
