

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Alex Wirag Saraceno, who left us on January 27, 2025. Joseph was a caring and selfless soul, always willing to give the last of what he had to those in need. He was a man of compassion, kindness, and an unwavering desire to serve others.
A proud graduate of EMT, Joseph was on the path to becoming a firefighter, and was set to take his paramedic test this week—a testament to his dedication to helping those in need. His commitment to making a difference in his community will never be forgotten.
Joseph was deeply loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Qiana Wirag, and his father, Joseph Saraceno. His siblings, Cameron Wirag, Zion Saraceno, Aydn Wirag, and Mason Wirag, held a special place in his heart, and his love for them was immeasurable. He will also be missed by his devoted girlfriend, Hailey Scott, who was his rock and constant support, and loved by many more.
Joseph’s legacy of kindness, courage, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be forever missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. A committal service will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.
