Karen “Mi Chica” , 
You became part of our family. 
Even though you are gone, you will always be in our hearts and in our minds. You will be forever missed!

I have known Karen for quite a few years.  I remember always feeling very welcome around her.  She was always an up-lifting spirit.  I remember her as being very knowledgeable and a hard worker.     The last time I saw her was at  QuarterDeck around her birthday years ago.   This really comes as a surprise.  I will keep the fond memories of her.

I’m so blessed to have had your friendship and heartbroken there will no longer be craziness con Karen additions to my list. 

Rest well Karen, you never gave yourself the credit you deserved, and I hope heaven is bringing you the peace you’re so well deserving of 🕊

Deepest condolences to all who share in the loss of Karen, a wonderful light that has been snuffed out far to soon.  Especially thoughts and prayers to Lisa, David and your families.

35 years of memories we share with Karen to thank for so many of them steadfast at the top of “the best and craziest times in my life”:

•	Flying in her Cessna from Ft Lauderdale to Daytona for the Firecraker 400 with seats in the Winston Tower and flying back the same night completely sunburnt. 
•	A fellow co-worker calling us Babosa (slug) and it forever remained what we called each other. 
•	Riding the Harley’s, especially to Flossie’s on Sundays 
•	Our near ill-fated voyage on M/Y Bellflower 
•	Our New Zealand trip
•	Getting our matching tattoos to forever link our friendship 💖

My story with Karen begins with “a Police Chief’s Daughter and a Minister’s Daughter walk into a bar”  Well ok, it was the office door at Certified Tours but I’m sure the bar wasn’t far behind.  And if that doesn’t scream trouble loud enough, we’re both Wisconsin Cheeseheads.

Karen, was and will always  be, a beautiful soul!  Her kindness,  her  infectious smile and warm hugs will be dearly missed.   Rest in peace our beautiful friend!

The Waterway Soirée  at Bahia Mar.  A fantastic charity event that she signed me up. It was worth it.

Karen’s smile and energy could light up any room, and her warmth was felt by everyone around her. She was a special friend who always put others' needs ahead of her own, often without realizing the extent of her kindness.

Her passing has created a ripple effect, reminding us all of the impact she had on our lives. 

Now, it's our turn to give back that love and hold her memory close to our hearts. 

My thoughts and prayers are with her family, who will feel her absence most deeply.

Sending prayers to the Newberry family. Karen and I were in the same class and graduated from Badger High School in 1985. Karen and I were in the band together. She played the flute and I played the clarinet. She had such a great laugh. Rest in Peace Karen. You will be missed by all.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends as we share in the heart ache of losing beautiful Karen.
Our close knit  Packer family here in South Florida will never forget the fun and memorable times we shared with Karen.  Each  and every upcoming Packer season we will keep her close at heart as we cheer …..Go Pack Go!!!

Our Mouse (because she chose cheese is over dessert) was a big g part of our life in Fontana.  She was always our daughter and was loved by us all.  So glad we were able to reconnect with her. May she rest in peace
