JEFFREY, Kathleen Diane Gorman, 60, of Hialeah, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Gorman. She was one of eight children, and the oldest of two girls. Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, James Roger Jeffrey, and her three children, to include; Susan Jeffrey (Gregory Strom), Laura Jeffrey, and Andrew Jeffrey, all from Hialeah, FL. She is also survived by one grandchild, Luke James Strom. She was an avid exercise enthusiast and exuded unbelievable courage throughout her remaining years battling breast cancer. Through her positive attitude, testimony and mentoring, she provided encouragement to all who knew her. A celebration of life will take place at 2 p.m. followed by a visitation, on Sunday, October 5, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Davie, Florida.. A reception following the burial will be from 5-7 p.m. at the Jeffrey house.
