Lowell D. Leonard, age 76, of Oakland Park, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Memorial Pembroke Hospital. At the time of his passing he was in the hearts and minds of those he loved the most.
Lowell is survived by his wife, Nancy Leonard; His daughters, Lauren Leonard and Natalie Leonard; his sons and daughter-in-law, Alex and Lizzie Leonard, Ben Leonard and Nathan Leonard. Lowell held close to his heart the memory of his son Matthew Leonard, who passed away on September 13, 2017; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Leonard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 at the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Lowell's funeral service will commence on Friday morning at 10:00 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Central, with military honors.
Social distancing guidelines in accordance with Federal, State and CDC, recommendations are strictly followed. Broward County Regulations require all guests to wear a mask.
