
With profound heartbreak, we share the passing of Betsy Hogan who was taken from us far too soon on March 8th 2025, at the age of 58. Betsy was a source of love, strength, and kindness. Touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Born at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Betsy was a beloved mother of her only child Tiffany Ann Donahue. Her daughter, Tiffany was the center of her universe, and their bond was truly unbreakable. She lived for her, offering all the love, support, and encouragement any child could hope for.
She was the last of 11 children of James Jay Hogan III and Rose Murray Hogan, with a surviving of 4 siblings Ruth Hogan Baker, her husband Ron Baker, Mary Kay Hogan her husband Ron Salazar, Kelly Hogan Doffing, her husband Michael Doffing, Matthew Hogan , his wife Lorelei Hogan. A total of 7 surviving nieces and nephews! Her daughter Tiffany’s, Father Thomas Paul Donahue and her husband and partner for over 20 years Isham Walker Kendrick III.
She went to Deerfield Middle and High School. She holds a degree at BCC in liberal arts and social sciences and also had an honorable discharge with the U.S. NAVY.
Betsy was extremely close to her sister, Kelly, they grew up as native Floridians. With the two of them loving the beach with so many adventures along the way.
In the end of her last couple months, Bevely Bernardine, who was one of her best friends for 20 years, became her caregiver. Bev loved her dearly and with a broken heart.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony, scattering ashes above an underwater cemetery off of Key Biscayne, will be held on Wednesday 04/16/25. Betsy and her mother, Rose Murray Hogan, will be laid to rest at sea. A charter boat is reserved for three hours departing at 1 PM. Due to limited occupancy, if you'd like to join please reach out to Tiffany. Below is the address where the boat will depart from.
