On the morning of October 7, 2013, Newton Fitzroy Cox 91, heard and answered the voice of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calling him to come up yonder to his eternal home. Roy was born in St Vincent, West Indies, lived in Trinidad, England and migrated to the United States. Roy was a hard working man, loving father, loving husband and a faithful friend of many. After many years of hard work in New York, he retired to Florida with his wife. He always spoke about calling upon the Lord above. His loving disposition was always present to all. Roy will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Roy is survived by his loving wife Vera, children Joan Morrison, Jeannette Cox, Edmund Cox, Carrol Cox, Claudette Cox, Leroy Cox, Donna Cox, Earl Cox, Larry Mark, Christopher Mark, Brian Mark, Earl Mark Deborah Mark, Denise Fletcher, Floyd Davis, Odetta Clark, Mark Quashie, Winston Austin, Steven Austin, Dale Austin, siblings Edmund Farrell, Sylvia Creese, Dan Farrel and many Grands, Great Grands and other family members and loving friends.
