

Oleta was born December 25, 1917 to George C. and Sarah Holliday in St. Charles, Michigan. Oleta was united in holy matrimony to George Harold Krause on February 4, 1939 in Saginaw, MI. They moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1970. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale serving the ministry as a volunteer with the Pink House Adult Activity Center, Craft Ministry, Women's Association of Faith Leaders and a member of the PEO sisterhood. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality she was loved my many. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Oleta was preceded in death by her husband George, her son Gerald Krause, her sisters Mary A. Holliday, Barbara L. Holliday Scott, her brothers Earl W. Holliday, Elwood V. Holliday and son-in-law John T "Tim" Dawkins.
Oleta is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Kay Krause Dawkins, grandchildren Matthew (Heather) Krause, Mark (Heidi) Krause, Jennifer Dawkins Ordonez, Stephanie (Bob Palmer) Dawkins, five great grandchildren, Jeanette Krause, Ellen Krause, and many other dear family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale and simultaneously livestreamed: https://livestream.com/firstpresbyterianchurchoffortlauderdale
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, Sheridan House Family Ministries, or Vitas Healthcare Broward County.
