Born in Oak Park, Illinois, “Bob” was the son of the late Robert and Patricia (née Czechanski) Feeley. He grew up surrounded by a lively and loving family and carried that same spirit throughout his life. A proud graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School and the University of Miami, where he also was a member of the Hurricane’s “Band of the Hour”, Bob’s loyalty to the Miami Hurricanes never wavered — win or lose. He also held a lifelong love for his Chicago Cubs, celebrating their World Series win as if the wait hadn’t taken a century.
Bob spent many years in South Florida, where he raised his family, made lifelong friends, and always found ways to make people laugh. His humor was sharp, his creativity boundless, and his mischievous grin unforgettable. He had a knack for turning ordinary moments into funny stories — often at his own expense. He also lived mid-life in Greenwich, CT and his birthplace, Oak Park, IL. An entrepreneur by nature, Bob created and built several successful enterprises including Surfco Global and Dearborn Enterprises, LLC.
He is survived by his children, Beth Viselli and John Feeley; his grandsons Paul Viselli and Archer Feeley, his siblings Edmund (Maryellen), Stephen (Edith), and David (Nicole) Feeley, and Colleen (Jon) Abrahamovich; and nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Bob will be remembered for his love of family, steadfast faith, and the joy he brought to every gathering — often with a clever joke or a Cubs cap in hand.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Robert’s funeral service will commence on Friday, October 24th at 10:00 am at St. Coleman Catholic Church where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
In his honor, the family suggests doing something that would make him smile: share a good laugh, cheer for the ‘Canes, or enjoy a sunny Florida day with the people you love. Gifts can be directed to All Saints Catholic Mission, Oakland Park, FL. https://allsaintsmission.org/
