Ross Patrick Beckerman died on June 24, 2021 after a long bout with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Beckerman, his daughters, Kimberly Levinson and Lisa Beckerman, his son in law Adam Levinson and his daughter Lisa’s life partner, Robert Pollowitz. He is also survived by his three sisters-in-law, Adeline Marino, Judy Stevens, and Shirley Noga Kerr, and his two brothers-in-law, Frank and Joe Ludovici.
Ross was born in Miami and grew up in Hollywood. He had a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and also a juris doctor from the University of Florida. He was a commercial real estate attorney and for many years, he practiced law with his father Stanley M. Beckerman.
He was extremely charismatic and could light up a room. He was very erudite and could converse on just about every subject. He was also a person who was generous to a fault.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
