Sahodri Baldeo

Sahodri (aka Miss Baker), died at age 79 on October 31st, 2021, in Coral Springs, Florida. She was born on September 15th, 1942 in Tuschen, Guyana. She was an only child. She attended Philadelphia Scots School. After school, she met and married Sukraj Baldeo (aka Baker man, Sonson). They have five children: Suresh, Jenny, Joyce, Theresa, and the late Elaine.

In February 1996, she and her husband moved to the United States. They lived in New York City before moving to Florida. Her interests included family, gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, and watching cricket. She is survived by her husband, four children – Suresh, Jenny, Joyce, and Theresa – and 5 grandchildren – Amanda, Vivian, Nicholas, Megan, and Nathan.

A visitation for Sahodri will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 8, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A committal service will occur Monday, November 8, 2021, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

Sahodri will be dearly missed.
