I remember being in Steve's wedding and being so happy that Carolyn was going to be part of our family.
Loved them both very much.

Coming from a large extended Italian and multi-nationality family, filled with all kinds of people and personalities, the one relative everybody loved (and could sit next to at holidays) was our cousin Steve. He married my cousin Carolyn and gave her all the love in the world. They just had to look at each other and you knew how much they loved each other. People envied them. They were like newlyweds every day they were together. He made sure she smiled every single day. They adored each other, cherished their children, and made each one of us feel welcomed in their home.  We love you, Steve.  Our hearts ache for all of the people who are grieving for you. We only hope Carolyn greeted you with her wonderful smile, and your favorite cheesecake!

When I think of Steve I think of “SteveandCarolynn” because they were so devoted to each other. They were one. He was a good man who with Carolynn made a wonderful life and family. To all my cousins, Jeff and I are so sorry for your loss. I remember most, those pool parties. I believe that house was BLUE. I can still hear Carolynn laughing. I know Steve is with Carolynn and Steve Jr. They are healed and wrapped in love. God bless you all.  Love, Lisa and Jeff. 

To all our family, I'm so sorry for your loss, and a smile crosses my face knowing 'Cousin Steve' is now with the family that has gone before him.   
I have such great memories of the pool parties in Addison, and the family reunions in Florida, and cousin Steve always made sure us kids were doing 'ok'.  Of course that meant, 'did you get enough to eat', but cousin Steve always did it with a genuine smile, that made me feel special. 
I have lots of great memories of Cousin Steve, and I'm hoping to have many more memories with the Hoyts for years to come.

There are so many memories I have of my papi. This is one that takes the cake as he was able to meet and enjoy his great grandson! I love you papi. Enjoy being with daddy and nana. 

I can remember my big brother sleeping upstairs and sneaking up the stairs to see him and wake him up.  Always getting a bombard of shoes as I ran down the steps laughing all the way.  Steve, I will miss you and the times we visited having great food and laughing all day with stories of our childhoods.
