Suzanne (Sue) Kolcz passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63, on August 23rd, 2023. Suzanne is predeceased by her husband, Richard Kolcz, as well as her parents, Clifford and Emma Kelsoe. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Huber (Carter Huber) and Sara Rivera, as well as her two granddaughters, Kaila Delillo (Jazmyn Bonilla) and Victoria Vilarchao. She is also survived by her two brothers, Jasper Butler and Dale Butler (Coreen Butler), as well as her sister, Mary Foster. She also leaves behind her dearest friend of over 40 years, Cindy Demeyer, who was like a sister to her. Suzanne was born on January 27th, 1960 at Hollywood Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Cooper City High School in 1978. After graduating, Suzanne began working for Motorola as a lab manager, where she stayed for almost 35 years until retirement. Her family remembers her as a kind, gentle, strong-willed woman with the biggest heart who encouraged them to pursue all of their goals and dreams, and supported them every step of the way. She was more than happy to be the glue that held “her girls” together. Anyone who had the pleasure to know her, loved her, and many people considered her a bonus mother, affectionately named ‘Mama Sue’. She will be missed eternally, and she will live through all of us every day, through the wonderful memories she left each of us with. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, September 1st, starting at 6pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow on Saturday, September 2nd, beginning at 11am, with a graveside service to follow starting around 1pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Suzanne’s life.
