

Thaddeus H. Quinn Gillis affectionately known to many as "T" was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. God called him home on September 26, 2023, on his 65" birthday.
He leaves behind his legacy of serving to his wife of 35 years, Tami Gillis, his children Tibyron and Kimberly, Brittany who he helped to raise, his mother, Irene Quinn Rufus, brothers Clarence, Reginald, and Jonathan, his sister Portia, the Gillis family, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Thaddeus was a faithful servant at Calvary Chapel; serving as a Deacon, New Believer Encourager, usher, connection Point, etc. Through Celebrate Recovery, he was an inspiration to so many people who battled addiction and he used his testimony to reach those who needed it the most.
"T" loved spending time with his family and friends, golfing, boating and he was passionate about the Miami Dolphins.
His smile will be forever be with us.
A visitation for Thaddeus will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 12:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, 2101 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. A funeral services will occur Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2101 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. A committal service will occur Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Fairway Memorial Gardens, 1391 NW 45th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33064.
