Alice Louise Spiotta

Alice Louise Spiotta of Fort Myers Florida passed away peacefully on October 4th 2024. Alice is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Albert F. Spiotta, their daughters, Catherine A. Spiotta, Sharon L. Townsend, Elizabeth G. Spiotta and Elinore J. Spiotta, Grandchildren, Portia Nicholson, James Nicholson III, Chelsea Spiotta, Brianna Spiotta, Alex Martinez, Delainey Spiotta, Jade Green , Semina Green and great grandchild Gianni Nicholson, Son in laws, Stanley Green and Elijah Walsh and cousin Steven Sigel.

Alice was preceded in death by her Father Joseph Schmick, Mother Mary Schmick, Sisters Julia Beckham, Gladys Schmick, Brother Carl Schmick, In-laws Vito Spiotta, Barbarina Spiotta, sister in law Catherine (Kay) Spiotta and daughter Lynn C. Spiotta.

Alice was born 1932 in Lykens PA, and moved to Philadelphia, PA. As a child, she loved the movies and horseback riding in Penny Pack Park. She met and married her husband Albert in 1952. They moved the family to Media, Pa in 1969. The house was always filled love and she had the ability to make anyone who entered feel like part of the family. Spending summers at the Jersey shore, she enjoyed family, friends, the beach and watching sunsets on the bay. Her love of books, poetry, music, art and jewelry making, was reflected in her outlook on life. She made everything in this world beautiful with her unwavering kindness and grace. After retiring from working with disabled children at Old Forge School Intermediate Unit Alice and husband moved to Estero, Florida where she lived until her passing. Heaven has truly gained an angle to watch over us all.
