Andrew Samuel Leitch Jr.

Andrew Samuel Leitch Jr. was born on Sept 23rd 1943 in Stamford Connecticut. Andrew passed away at the age of 76. He was living at The Palms of Longwood Assisted Living of Longwood, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Samuel Leitch Sr and Mary Magdalene (Kovalch) Leitch and his first wife of 28 years Dolores Antoinette (Dzilinski) Leitch.

He is survived by his late wife’s two daughters, Michelle and Jennifer and four grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, Karma and Conner. As well as his ex-wife of almost 11 years, Aracelly and her two children Isabel and Juan and two grandchildren Pablo and Isabella. Also, his brother Brian Leitch and his children James, John and Peter. And two brothers-in-law Gene Dzilinski and Francis Dzilinski and JoAnn Dzilinski, sister in law.

Andrew joined the Navy and served on the USS Shadwell from 1960 – 1964. He and Dolores met and married. Andy and Dolores moved down to Cape Coral, FL in 1968… being the youngest couple to buy a home in the Cape. He taught Cosmetology at LeBaron’s Cosmetology School in Fort Myers for many years. Then left to open his own Barbershop in Cape Coral. He was a jokester and Professional clown, better known as Kiddo the Clown. Kiddo and Daffodil would make appearances for parties and local functions. Andy and Dolores opened a floral shop, A Floral Affair by Dee and worked together, with daughters too. In 2008, he moved up to Winter Park, Fla.

He touched many lives with his humor and love. He will be missed by the lives he has been a part of. We will remember him always.

Andrew’s services will be held in Winter Park, FL. Saturday, December 14th at Memory Gardens at 1pm.
