Ann Sabecki-Kukowicz, age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 27, 1947, in Hollendorf, Germany to John and Mary (Nebesniak) Sabecki. After World War II, her family immigrated to the US and resided in Toledo, Ohio. Ann was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving for eight years. She proudly worked for the Ohio Department of Veterans Services and retired as a Veterans Service Officer assisting veterans receive the benefits they deserved. After retirement, Ann moved to Fort Myers, FL to spend time with her family and grandson whom she adored more than anything in the world.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Roxann (Nathan) Shuster; grandchild, Matthew Shuster; and brother, Michael Sabecki. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may join us at a memorial mass on Thursday, January 8 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Columbkille Catholic Church at 12171 Iona Rd.
