

Annette was born on January 1, 1925, in Kentucky, to the late Richard and Etta Powers and was one of five children. On April 25, 1942, in Harlan Kentucky, she married Eugene Tipton, and they later had two children Eddie Tipton and Debbie Goldsberry.
Annette is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Eugene Tipton; her three sisters, Dorthy, Thelma Lee, and Nancy; her brother, Charlie Powers; her son, Eddie Tipton; and her grandson, Nathan Goldsberry.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Debbie (John) Goldsberry of Lehigh Acres;
4 grandchildren: Hope (CJ) Simpson, Tenee’ (Gus) Mondragon, Jay Tipton, Taylor (Chris) Kersey; and 11 great grandchildren: Saige, Jaiden, Jailin, Maddix, Londyn, Mizzorey, Grayson, Ellinay, Jaimasyn, Audrey, and Jude.
We will forever remember her in our hearts and thoughts, and will cherish the memories of the times we laughed, the times we loved, and the times we spent together.
And so it is that she, having waited long and endured patiently, has been called by God to share in his eternal glory … 1Peter 5
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 2:00-3:00pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft. Myers, FL 33913. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome. A private entombment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Info 239-334-4880.
