Anthony James Leeber Jr.

Anthony James Leeber, Jr. (better known as Tony Jr.), passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at the age of 54 from lung cancer. Tony grew up on Long Island in New York where he met his beloved wife of 33 years, Diane Fano. Tony moved to Southwest Florida in 1997.

He was the adored father of Adrianna Lucas and Anthony Jaden Leeber, the treasured grandfather of Emma and Luca Lucas, and the beloved father-in-law of Tyler Lucas. Tony was President of Cornerstone Builders of SWFL, founder of House of Hope in Lee County FL, and a board member of Dunklin Memorial Church in Okeechobee FL.

Tony brought joy to every situation and a smile to every face. He was funny, passionate, and generous. He was a master carpenter in kitchen remodeling and thoroughly enjoyed working. He loved people and had a gift for communicating with others. Tony was a fierce follower of Jesus Christ and hoped to see all come to the saving knowledge of knowing Him.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Diane, as well as their children Adrianna and Anthony, their grandchildren Emma and Luca, his father Anthony Leopardi, and his sisters Maria Dow, Gina Dorman, Annmarie Tully, Christina Cooke, and Nicole Cook - along with many nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother Gina Leeber.
