Very Deeply Sad to hear the Passing of Carl. Just Found out Recently. He believed in me and always gave great advice. Had an Unbelievable Heart and Sense of Humor. He told me one day I would reach my goals and move back to N.Y. He was right. My Prayers go to his Family and Friends. I know your Watching over me Carl. You Never gave up on me. Gonna Miss You.

Tubby, this is Frank Lueddeke (Ludes). The news just reached me in CA and I want to express my prayers and deepest sympathy to your family. You were one of my closest friends in high school and in college and you will be dearly missed. I think often of the Mustang days and I still regret to this day not taking that Woodstock ticket you got for me. Rest in peace, my friend.

My sincere condolences to Carl's family and friends.
Carl helped me so much with much needed surgeries. Two hip replacements 11 months apart and to continue working within 7 weeks of each surgery.
I was extremely sad to hear of his passing.. I credit Carl with my heart.

I love my father very much and will miss him dearly. His lifetime of dedication and self-sacrifice serve as a monument to the exemplary man he was. His humility, integrity, and hard work continue to inspire those who knew him.

Mr. Maffeo was my Hero, He helped me get thru a Heart Surgery that I needed. without his help I don't know what I would have done. He was a very nice man. Every time he would call me he would say, Jeanie Nipper, Carl Maffeo here, in a certain voice that would make me smile. I wrote him a letter thanking him and he said he ran around the office going Look, I did something good. I stayed in touch with him because of all of his help and my husband and me renamed Ford Street Carl Maffeo Parkway and every time we go on that Street we mention it. He was my Friend.......

My condolences to the family.  I was one of Carl's clients, a very recent one.  I wish I had gotten to know him better. He will be sorely missed at VR.  One thing I know is that he made a real difference in the world.

Dear Ellie and Family,
I am sorry for your loss.  May you find comfort in your memories.   My first memory of a meaningful conversation with Carl was regarding implementation of orientation at his office.   I certainly came to know his thoughts and opinions on that matter and will miss the banter.   He will be missed.

I'm going to miss Carl's version of the morning news that he heard on his way into work, his interpretation of the events were always entertaining. I'm going to miss his stories at lunch-time, those always went well with the "fresh out of the fryer" fried chicken he would get the unit for lunch; at that rate I'm sure Publix on Summerlin is going to miss him too because they always knew when he would be there, it was like clockwork. I'll miss him and Wava fighting over maple-bacon walnuts at Christmas time. But most importantly, I'm going miss Carl; he was taken from us way too soon.
