A dear sister and best friend has ascended to eternal bliss with her Lord and Savior, celebrating a life that will forever inspire and uplift us. She attended Catholic parochial school and she had a successful career in the credit department of Kaiser Aluminum while living in Vernon Hills, IL. Once she and her husband retired, they built a home in Mirror Lakes and enjoyed making friends and entertaining. Carol loved travel and after marrying they enjoyed many adventures to a number of countries and cruising to ports of call. She was very active in the board at The Meadows at Mirror Lakes serving as both the Treasurer and Secretary for a number of years. She and her sister shared an unshakable bond and despite the miles maintained an unwavering union. She will always be remembered for her love of dogs.
Carol is predeceased by her husband, Frank; brother-in-law, Richard; nephew, Ricky. Carol is survived by her sister, Gail; her dedicated and faithful neighbors, Travis and Krissy; her furry little girl, Suzie; and many loving family members.
A Funeral Mass at St. Raphael Catholic Church will be scheduled for Carol in the upcoming weeks.
