It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Christina Brown.
Christina was more than a well-known bartender she was a bright, magnetic soul who brought joy, comfort, and color to every room she walked into. For years, she poured not just drinks, but love, laughter, and stories into the lives of those around her. Her bar wasn't just a place of work, it was a gathering spot for friends, neighbors, and countless people who became like family.
She had a deep love for life’s simple and beautiful things: sunsets, bright colors, and a wide range of music. A free spirit with a love for the ocean, she often found peace collecting seashells by the shore, always drawn to the water and the mysteries it held. She was enchanted by mermaids and Celtic crosses, symbols that spoke to her soulful and whimsical nature.
A true adventurer, Christina competed in a women’s fishing tournament in Texas and caught marlin in Mexico. She enjoyed a good time, going to the rodeo with her bestie in Texas, exploring the beaches and mountains of Maui with family, kayaking with her boyfriend Clint, and attending music events with her sisters in Florida.
Her heart overflowed with love for her animals; her Frenchie and Pitbull, a bunny, and a snake—each one a part of her vibrant, nurturing world.
But nothing compared to the love she had for her children. Christina was a fiercely proud sports mom, cheering on Landen for each special moment from his first homerun to his last touchdown. Her support for Trystan and Taelynn was loud, proud, and unwavering from the bleachers of the softball fields. She spoke proudly of her children in all their accomplishments but most deeply within their character and love of family. She cherished time with her family in all life's big and small moments.
She is survived by her children, Landen, Trystan, and Taelynn; her ex-husband and friend, Derek Brown; her parents, Robert & Sherri Nagy; her sisters Stephanie Liljegren and Kristen Nagy; her brother Robert Nagy; and countless friends and extended family members who cherished her. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Jennifer Nagy, whose memory Christina held close to her heart.
Christina was a daddy’s girl, carrying her father’s love and influence with her always.
The community response to Christina’s passing has been overwhelming—a true reflection of the incredible woman she was. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
Rest in peace, Christina. Your spirit will forever dance in the waves, shine in every sunset, and echo in the hearts of all who loved you.
A Visitation for Christina will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, followed by a Celebration of Life from 7:00 PM to 8:13 PM.
