Rest in Paradise my dear niece Dee-Dee, you were loved more than words can say. I only wish I had more photos of the fun times shared with your cousins Ivan & Helen, Aunt Haida & myself growing up in Brooklyn from 60th St to Lefferts Ave, as well as our time on Armanella St in MA. Will never forget you sweet angel ❤.

You are such a wonderful warm person. I was so lucky and blessed to have known you. I’m so glad I found out about Nanny Poppinz and you were the one to interview with me. 
To have such a wonderful time getting to babysit Ella and Marcelo as well as a lot of other families that you know on the beach, recommending me to everyone. 
I love working with the agency and to be given the chance to interview nannies all over the United States, as well as handing out/ posting up flyers. 
I loved working with you and working along side you. You are such an amazing person. 
It was so wonderful all the times you and Linda welcomed me into your house with open arms and becoming part of the family. I even loved especially wrapping presents for you from Linda and wrapping up the Christmas presents that you were giving Linda and the kids. That was so special and really making me feel like family. 
I hope and pray that I will still continue being apart of your family and helping Linda out when she needs me. I would love to continue watching your kids grow up. 
You will be forever missed Dee but definitely never forgotten. I miss you so much, my heart is broken and I love you so much.

It must have been May 2006 when I first met Deneane. I had just joined my new business partner's firm not more than a year prior when he asked me to accompany him to a conference in Fort Myers hosted by his clients Deneane and Susan. Coming from a corporate environment, my initial expectations in meeting a company president has always been more formal business. Upon meeting Deneane, she totally disarmed me - she was warm, caring and thoughtful. Not only that, we were treated not as development techies from New York, but as welcome guests and an integral part of the company. That made discussing business plans more open and forthcoming. Our more than decade-long warm relationship was cemented then and there. At the conference, I also had the privilege to meet Deneane's parents, her dad was very cool and her mom was so sweet - she brought pasteles for me one day and I ate both of them for lunch! This year, I emailed, spoke with and texted Deneane very often - I am so glad that we had that opportunity to communicate frequently whether about business or personal - and in her case, whether she was at home, in the car or at the hospital. Recently, and the last time we spoke on the phone, I felt compelled to tell her that I loved her before I said good-bye. She replied that she loved me too. Although I mourn our dear Deneane's passing at such a young age, my heart is warmed with that memory and feel comforted that she is with her mother now. Deneane, I know that you'll watch over and protect your family. As I look at the family photos, we can all see the love and devotion you have for your dad, wife and children - and they reciprocate those feelings. My hope is that they'll be comforted by their everlasting memory of you and your love. Know that I will do whatever I can to help and support your wife Linda in her endeavors as well.  I miss your voice already and wish you the very best on your journey beyond.  With love, Ken
