Dorothy Rose Tempera, 93, of Fort Myers, FL. She was born June 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Walter and Elgidio Parasino.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Mario. She is the mother of Dennis A. Tempera, Mario W. Tempera and his wife Joanne, the late Debra A. Bottega and her husband, Philip, and Diane M. Tempera. Beloved Grandmother of Corinne, Christopher, Kristen, Gregory, Jenna and Talia as well as Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy proudly was a seamstress who created wedding gowns and accessories for a bride’s trousseau before she became a homemaker. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies, sewing, crocheting, and needlepoint. She and her husband both volunteered at the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home 9231 Cypress Lake Drive Fort Myers, FL 33919. Funeral Services will be at 6:00P.M.
