Eleanor Ann Tierney was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to William E. and Lillian Tierney on November 28, 1935. She attended Burncoat High School of Worcester, Massachusetts, graduating in 1953. After high school, she took classes for bookkeeping. She worked at the landoli Markets for many years as a bookkeeper, and then went on to work as a personal assistant for a Massachusetts state senator. She married Charles McEnroy on September 4, 2006 in Las Vegas.
She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Lillian (Pat) Mountain of Gorham, Main and Colleen Doe of North Fort Myers, Florida.
Survived by her husband of 14 years, Charles McEnroy, her daughter, Lynn Tierney Ripley and son in law, Stephen Ripley of Kansas City, Missouri, three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at Hodges Kiser Funeral Home.
