Elizabeth C Richards

Betty was born in Trenton, NJ on October 21, 1923. After raising five children, she was a personnel specialist. She was personnel manager at Lit Brothers Department Store in Trenton, NJ and retired as personnel manager of Lehigh Corporation in Lehigh Acres, FL.

She was an active member of Order of Eastern Star in both Trenton and Lehigh, serving as worthy matron. Betty was honored as Lady of the Year, Lehigh Acres 2602, BPOE 2008-2009. She was active in TOPS and an active member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Morris Richards; her son, Richard K Richards; her parents; sister, Lyn; and brothers, Ernest and William. She is survived by sons, Bruce W. (Nancy), George G (Karen); daughters, Patricia and Virginia (Renee) and 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 705 Leeland Heights Blvd E, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11am. For information, please call 239-334-4880.
