Ferdinand Fenelon

Ferdinand Fenelon, age 93, of Lehigh Acres, Florida has said his goodbye on Thursday, January 2, 2025, after a long hospital stay. Papi Ferdinand "Bo" Fenelon was born on May 19, 1931, in Leogane, Haiti to Mondestin Fenelon and Justine Moise Paul. Ferdinand was the oldest of 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl. He is survived by his sibling, Jean Baptiste Fenelon.

Ferdinand is also survived by his beloved wife who we know as Matante. The entire family knows that he had a soft spot for Matante (if you know what I mean).

Ferdinand raised all of his children and proudly rode all of his children to school on a bicycle everyday. He would proudly tell everyone that he fathered ten children: Frantz "Babi" Fenelon, Fernand Paul Fenelon, Garrio Fenelon, his name's sake, Rodner "Bo" Fenelon, Jolicoeur Fenelon, Enel Fenelon, Patrick Fenelon, Floy Fenelon, and his only daughter Kerline Fenelon.

His grandchildren loved him unconditionally; Tashine Fenelon, Garine Fenelon, Jonathan Fenelon, Emerose Fenelon Wallace, Lydre Fenelon Eloi, Samantha Fenelon, Spinoza Fenelon, Danille Fenelon, Sophyr Fenelon, Emid'or Lamoiselle Fenelon, Ajai Fenelon, Katai Fenelon, Zai Fenelon, Elijah Samson Fenelon, Samuel Nathan Fenelon, Varnel Paul, Tina Paul, Philip Paul, Christopher Paul, Linda Paul, Natasha Fenelon, Gregory Fenelon, Jean Gumps Fenelon, and great grandchildren, Antonio Jackson, Belicia Jackson, Darren Paul, Destiny Samson, Maria Lacroix, Gregory Mac Fenelon, Amalia Gismeldgi Fenelon, and Gumpson Liam Fenelon.

A Viewing for Ferdinand will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. A Funeral will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. A Graveside service will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
