Gabriel C. Gebara passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2024 after a four year journey of various health challenges. Up until the end, Gabriel maintained his kindness, love of family and friends and expressed gratitude for his long life, full of wonderful and varied experiences.
Gabriel moved from Lebanon to the United States for his studies in aeronautical engineering at California Polytechnic University. He married Sandra Paulson shortly before graduating and together with their three children, they lived around the world during his 37-year career with Boeing. Gabriel was a true bon vivant, and an admirable man. He lived and loved fully and was happiest surrounded by family and friends enjoying meals and fine wines. Gabriel will always be remembered as a loving, generous, kind and worldly person by all who had the fortune of knowing him. He was an exceptional husband, father, and friend.
He is deeply mourned by his wife, Sandy, his three children, Giselle, Greg and Nicole and their spouses Nils, Marianna and Eric, as well as his grandchildren, Alexandre, Larsen, Fiona, Sophia and Gabriel. His sister Lola Karam, her husband Sayed and the rest of his living relatives in Lebanon also mourn him. He is predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Assad and his sister Viola.
Gabriel's funeral will be held on Monday, January 6th at 10:30am at the Church of the Resurrection of our Lord at 8121 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers. Immediately following, there will be a celebration of life reception at the Gulf Harbour Marina Yacht Club at 14490 Vista River Dr., Fort Myers.
