Harry was an active member of Citrus Springs Civil Association for many years and a member & secretary of the Citrus Springs Surveillance Unit for 18 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and active in Post 4864 as adjutant for 12 years. Harry was a church lector and secretary for many years of the S.E.A.S. Parish Men’s Association. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII on a B17: flying out of England.
He is survived by his son Harry Meyer; daughter Kathleen (Steve) Jones; grandchildren Daniel Jones and Shiloh Jones; and his brother Tom Meyer.
