Ida Marlene Iosco

Ida M Iosco of Melrose Park, Illinois died peacefully on Sunday October 8, 2023. Ida or “Duck” as she was affectionately known, was married to Vito “Buddy” Iosco for 64 years. They resided in Melrose Park, Illinois where they raised their 3 children, owned a successful restaurant business that true Melrose Parkers are sure to recall; Mr. I’s Take-a-Home Food. Ida retired from School District 89 where she was a School Secretary for many years.

Ida and Buddy retired to Southwest Florida in 1996. They lived many boating adventures and enjoyed great times with great new friends.

Ida enjoyed her retirement years with Bud at her side and their two daughters, JoLynn (Tony), and Theresa Marie (David) watching them raise their own children, Grandson’s Vito (Kelsey) and Michael (15). Grandson Ryan who resides in London remained close with his Grandma and with his US Family.

Loving sister to Maryann “Sandy” Margiotta (Joe) and to brother Augustine “Tom” D’Anza (Donna), Sister-in-Law to Anthony F. Iosco, Jr. (Marie) and Joseph J. “Midge” Iosco (Alma/Marie) and beloved Auntie Ida to many, many nieces and nephews.

The Family will hold a Celebration of Life at 4 O’clock pm on Friday, October 13, 2023
