

John E. Devine III, of Fort Myers, formerly of Dixon, Illinois, beloved husband and father and eternal Ford Man, passed away at age 56 in Fort Myers, Florida on March 2, 2017 from complications of influenza. Born in Springfield,
Massachusetts to John and Marceline Devine, he had 5 siblings to tease, joke, and provoke. He
met the love of his life, Charlene Presley, as a teenager at Dixon High School in Dixon, Illinois and
married her after a quick courtship of 11 years on June 14, 1986. Their sons, Jason and Justin,
completed the racing family. John was the Graphic Artist for Devine Design in which he touched
people with his kind heart, imagination, and artistic innovation as he created signs, shirts,
banners etc.
John is survived by his wife, Charlene and their sons Jason Paul and Justin Dale, his mother
Marceline Devine; siblings Susan Napoli, Miles Devine, Stephen Devine, Theresa Devine, and
Lisa Devine; nieces Lisa Rashidi, Clare Napoli, Alexa Rosenstein; nephew Matthew Napoli; in¬
laws Sophia Devine, Keith Anderson, and David Rosenstein. He leaves behind sketch books,
art work, car parts, artistic projects and his kitty Tinker. John never said good bye so ¬ "See you in a little bit."
